Recommend your easel

We are planning on getting DS an easel for his 2nd birthday. He loves painting, so I'd like to get one of those dual-sided easels (I want one side to be magnetic). Which easel do you have and what are your thoughts about it? Does it have a magnetic side and if yes, does your LO use it? If not, do you wish it had one? There's a million to choose from, there are the two I've narrowed it down to:

 Step2 Easel

 Crayola Easel

 Does anyone have either of these? I don't want it to be flimsy as I'd like it work for DD down the road as well.

I also love the kid kraft easel - mainly because it looks nice.

My parents bought the Step 2 Easel for DD's 1st birthday. She loves it and uses it daily. It is not flimsy at all, so it can definitely last long enough for your DD to get some use out of it, too.

My parents bought DD the Step2 Easel for her 2nd birthday and it quickly became her favorite.  Right now I would say she uses the magnetic side more...it came with some letters and numbers and then we also had some from the refrigerator.  The other side we put a piece of paper and let her go to town with some crayons (not paint yet) and she had fun but she definitely favors the magnetic side, so I would be sure to get one with that!  Good Luck!

We have the Step2 one and she loves it. I bought some chalk and crayons, but she tends to run around the house with those and I am always terrified she will start drawing on the walls. So at this point, we are still on the magnetic side. Definitely something she will grow into.

Ooo, I love that Kid Kraft one, too! 

We have an old Melissa and Doug one. It was a hand me down. It definitely looks like it's taken a beating but with a fresh coat of paint would probably look brand new. I just wish it was easier to fold up and put away.

When she does WD40 on a paper towel is a great way to get crayon off of the wall. I hear the Magic Eraser is, well, magic as well.
