My DH (who is getting his Master's in Computer Science the end of April) recieved a voicemail while we were in line at Starbuck this afternoon. Awesome voicemail, best voicemail ever. One of the places he had interviews (although not the one he would be really excited to work for, but it was his 2nd choice) called and they were offering him a job. The voicemail had a number for him to call back to negotiate the offer.
In his excitment to get the number so he could call back he accidently deleted the voicemail (and hung up loosing his chance to save it)! He looked up HR's number and called them but they said there weren't any notations of making him an offer in the computer yet...so they couldn't help him. WTH!
Re: Yay followed by boo....NBR
I went to Verizon's website and it said once you delete and hang up its gone.
Dh didnt realize he deleted it before he hung up I guess because he knew he could have retrieved it them
Could he contact one of the individuals that interviewed him? It seems like one of them might have been the one that called (or at least they might know who to get in touch with!)
I'm not even sure he talked directly to HR or just a talent acqusition team. Because it was a 1-800 number and I went and read that area of the website myself and it sounds like a place for job hunters with an interest in the company to call....lol. There is not acutal HR listed phone number on the website.
