    Eben? Is that a typo? I've never heard of that name. Hmmm. I generally dislike Chase, but I'd have to choose that over Eben.

    According to BTN, it is a short form of Ebenezer. Hm. You learn something new every day. I still prefer chase.

     

    Even knowing that it isn't, it sounds like Evan with a speech impediment, and Evan Everett is just too matchy for me, like naming your kid Billy William. I don't know, it just doesn't sound right to me.

     This made me LOL!  :) Ya, I wasn't so sure either. Naming boys is HARD!

    I don't like Chase and I agree with the PP who said Eben is weird.  It looks more like a typo of Eden to me. If I read it on a doctor's chart or a class list I'd be looking around for a little girl.

    Thanks everyone! I was leaning towards Chase...we seriously can't agree on anything accept Chase....so that may be the only option! I know we have plenty of time!

    I also thought Eben was a typo for Eden. I don't care for Chase either, but definitely like it better than Eben. Sorry.

    I Love the name Eben, probably because I have a really close friend with that name. I agree it isn't a typical name, but I have seen it.  (we do tease him and call him Ebenezer though, which he doesn't like)

    Chase. Defiinately. I know an Eban and his whole life he's been saying, "No EBAN, not EVAN." That would annoy the crap out of me.
