I just started my progesterone suppositories on Tuesday. Since last night i've had strong/uncomfortable period-like cramps. I'm not going to lie, it's starting to worry me!
Could it be the progesterone? Are uncomfortable cramps normal? When do I start being concerned?
Re: Cramping/progesterone
Hmm I take mine by mouth which has caused no cramps but I have heard that the suppositories can cause some bleeding from cervical irritation but I havent heard of any cramps. That is something you may want to call your doc on. He may want to switch you to an oral med or something different.
Yes, try not to worry to much. I am on supp. and have been cramping since starting them. I also have UTI symptoms, but have been told its due to the prog.
