I already posted this in my thread below, but I don't know if you saw it, and I'm getting impatient for details on you. I feel like I haven't seen you around these parts lately, which may be either me or you not being on here as often. But I've been thinking about you lots. So, these were my stalker questions:
How are you doing?? I know you were trying to restart your cycle and such and last I knew, also still not O'ing? Update me! I want to know things!!!
Re: *Raashton*
I know I have been a bad bumpie lately! I've been in and out, with school and in a funk.
I finally got my period jump started with Prometrium- and it felt sooo much more natural and real than what Provera gave me in November. Hopefully, my system gets a swift kick in the anus to ovulate. (Obviously, I haven't since the m/c). If not, it's off to the OBGYN in 4 weeks (My own self imposed deadline), and I have to find one as I go to a pelvic pain institute and they don't deal with trying to get you pg.
What's going on in your neck of the woods?
I went to a new OB last Friday and they did a load of blood-work and she was really awesome and so helpful. I go in on Monday to get the results of that and to do an u/s to check everything internally. I'm seriously hoping that the blood-work will show us something as to why I'm not ovulating, or how we can restart my cycle or maybe even why I had the m/cs. In all honesty, right now I'm just dieing for AF to show up, I'm on CD43 now, and it massively sucks.
I'm so glad you got your cycle going! Hopefully you start O'ing on your own, but maybe it wouldn't hurt to get into the OB anyway? Do you normally see one or just the doctors at the pelvic pain institute?
Woohoo!! This is great news!! You won't hate it. I bet you'll be awesome at it!
1st Bolded: Ugh! My last cycle was like 100 days (not exxagerating) and I wanted to crawl out of my skin!
2nd Bolded: I don't really have a regular OB. I had made an appointment with one and saw them through the course of the m/c. I liked them well enough but don't know if they are the best fit for me. Since last year, I saw the pelvic pain specialist for BCP and gyno needs after years at campus health, 2 crappy gyno visits, and health department for frequent infections that eventually lead to me getting vulvodynia (the pelvic pain doc thinks probably as a result of all the medicine they kept giving me causing nerve damage in the lady parts). I really like them and am sad to leave them for a bit but I understand that pg isn't in their scope.
Bummer, it's too bad that you have to leave doctors that you like. But, it makes sense. I would suggest getting into an OB's office, just because if you do get pg then it will be easier to get in for early appointments and blood tests. You won't have to wait as long and you'll be a priority as patient already. I finally got a good recommendation for an OB, which turned out to be the one I saw most recently and love! But I had to wait almost 2 months to get an appointment since I wasn't a current patient. She said that they always leave 9am open for new patients or currents with emergency/sudden appointments such as pregnancy, possible m/c, so they tend to bump new patients way back.
I don't know if all places operate like this, but it may help to have someone already know all your stuff. KWIM?
Anywho, blah blah...I'm rambling. I hope we BOTH start O'ing soon! I'm keeping you in my T&P.
Off to bed now. Take care dear.
I hope so too! If we O together, I am making us a badge!
Night!
