Postpartum Depression

Anyone with Zoloft experience???

So, I had my appt today and my doc confirmed that I have PPD/ PPA. He gave me a prescription for Zoloft.

I looked up the drug facts and it seems pretty run-of-the-mill as an anti-anxiety. I am getting the script filled tomorrow and I am super excited about it.

What are your experiences with Zoloft?

Re: Anyone with Zoloft experience???

  • I am on it, have been for three weeks now. I am so much better on it, I have had only two anixiety attacks since starting, which my mw said is normal, can actualy get worse in the first 6 weeks or so. But over all, I am loving it and it feels so great to be me again.Hope you have the same results.

  • I just weaned off Zoloft and it was difficult. Weird physical side effects - dizziness being the worst. Just be sure that when you are ready to stop taking the medication, you talk with your doctor about a proper way to wean off of it.

Being on Zoloft was a wonderful decision for my family! It helped me better deal with my anxiety issues and OCD. It's a wonderful thing when coupled with therapy. :)

  • I'm on the max dose my doctor will give (200 mg) and none of the dosages I've been on have done squat.
