This might sound very silly...did any of you have deli meats while pregnant?
I have been craving it soo much and keep debating with myself if I should or not, my mom ate whatever she wanted while she was pregnant and so did my sister and she has a 4 yr old and 4 yrs ago deli meat was ok...

I ate all kinds of deli meat. I actually craved ham and bologna sandwiches with lettuce on white bread (not the 2 together) and had one almost every night.
If you're too worried, just heat it up.
This. I didn't even heat it up or have a toasted sub. I let myself have one Jimmy John's sub a week.

Me too! I like my sandwiches better hot anyway, and I read that listeria dies at a relatively low temp, so I didn't hesitate to pig out!
Listeria is so rare. And you have just as much a chance of catching it through veggies as deli meat.
yes this!! 5 days a week even twice a day.
This, we have a butcher near our house, and I would just get the cold cuts there and make my own sandwich. I never trusted places like Subway, or Blimpie.
No flames here, I definitely ate deli meats while pregnant. And lots and lots of Blue cheese - seriously, I wouldn't have made it 9 months without. I say go for it. And yeah, you can always heat it up. Sometimes it's even better that way!
I always thought the "danger" of deli meat was the nitrates? Either way, as everyone said, the odds are that everything will be fine. I bought the "naturals" brand when I craved it since they use only natural ingredients like sea salt and lemon juice.
