vent... people bug

I have defiantly learned NOT to mention that we are doing a NB. People are so judgmental even my OB. UGH. She is the worst... She thinks she knows the Bradley Method but everything she said it was is wrong. I have only have 2 classes so far but I have learned so much. 

I know that things happen during labor and I need to be open minded but I will not be told that drugs will make things better/easier. UGH! Ok I am done venting.

Gah, the worst offenders are the uneducated ones (Not stupid, but don't know the facts.)  If I were getting judgey comments from my OB at only 25w, I would run as fast as I could to another Ob or MW.  Especially if she is throwing out ignorant comments about the specific birth method you're choosing to follow.  Not all OBs will be supportive of the BM (and NB in general) so I would start looking into finding someone who will be more supportive!  At the very least, consider hiring a doula if you can.  GL!

I'm so sorry you're not getting the support you need! I switched to my midwives through the hospital I delivered at at 26 weeks with DS. I never regretted it! An unsupportive OB is NOT going to change their tune during labor!
