We are going to a brunch on Saturday. She is serving a ham, egg bake, and a french toast bake (blueberry, I think), and fruit. I was charged with bringing some sort of kid-friendly appetizer. Any ideas? I want it to be good, but don't want my kids to just eat the appetizer so they don't eat the brunch.
Thoughts?
Re: What appetizer would you bring?
Dope. I see that know ; ) hmmmm....oatmeal with various sides/speciality coffees....i don't know, brunch sounds big enough
Mis-use of the quote function, I know... I think brunch sounds like enough, but since asked, I will bring. She said the we probably won't eat until 11, so that's basically lunch in my mind. I do know my kids will want something to much on...
I saw this recipe for Cinnamon Bun Popcorn that sounds really good, but my kids would go nuts on it probably and not want to eat anything else.
My kids love yogurt so I would do something with that. For simple, just bring a variety of yogurt cups or for something fancier I would do yogurt parfaits.
I agree! Yogurt parfaits with fruit, nuts, granola would be perfect!

I was going to say I'd bring the mimosa but this jumped out at me: I was charged with bringing some sort of kid-friendly appetizer.
Whoops!!
sausage/cheese balls. You can make them ahead and just heat them up (or throw them in a crock pot). I like the yogurt parfait idea too.
