I started the Zofran 2 days ago, it helps for like an hour but goes away. I can only take 1 every 8 hours. Im going to see if I still feel like I do today tomorrow and I will probably call. Last year my ob put me in the hospital. I went in for my female probelms , told him I was having a headache that wouldnt go away theu admitted me I was dehydrated then. Had to stay over night.

Yikes well on top of get better soon I'd try the best you can with the water. But tell your Dr. the problem with keeping it down, it's a common issue so I'd assume they'd have better advice than try to drink water. GL!
If you cant keep liquids down I'd suggest to call your doctor or go to the ER for some IV fluids. Happened to last week...I had a stomach virus though but i was so dehydrated by the end of the night I couldn't even keep a sip of water down and I ended up passing out on my way to the bathroom. If you are drinking just sip slowly because if you try to rush the hydration you could make yourself throw up.
Cramping, light headed, dizzy, weak, sometimes feverish, not passing much urine... if you feel really thirsty they your most likely dehydrated. If your dehydrated the baby is too. I had a lot of this in my first 4 months and was always in and out of the hospital on IV's.
Did you see an OB yet? You could ask for Zofran .. and then take one benedryl and the Zofran together. It will help with the nausea! Seriously it was the ONLY thing that helped me! If you can't get in to see a doc right away take one benedryl by itself. Also try sipping water throughout the day. Don't drink too much at once because it will make you sick too! Just some here and there. When you eat try eating a little bit at a time. Dry foods like cereal, toast, bagels, crackers, that kind of stuff will be easier to handle too. They told me to eat and drink separately. It did help some. Sometimes the hormones are too much though and you will still get sick. If you can't eat don't worry about eating .. keeping fluids in you is more important.
If 24 hrs goes by and you haven't drank about a gallon's worth of fluids you should go to the ER .. just keep in mind if your dehydrated so is the baby. They kept stressing to me that being dehydrated isn't good for the baby at all!!!
Re: Dehydration
This. If you're adequately hydrated, your urine should be very pale yellow - almost clear. If it's dark yellow, you're dehydrated.
