How do you plan on using your time off this year? Lots of long weekends at home? Staycation plans?
Anyone have travel plans this year? Want to share where you are going?

I get 15 days total and haven't used a day yet!. I usually hold onto about 2 or 3 until the end of the year for sick days. If they don't get used, I'll just take them around the holidays.
Taking about 4 days off this summer and we are renting a beach house for almost a week.
Long weekend in the Fall- spending it at Disney World. I'll be taking some time off for my BFF's wedding this year too. The rest of the time will be for long weekends.
I'm trying to think of something we can do for Memorial Day weekend. Although, it might be nice to spend a long weekend at home since we haven't really done that in a while. Oh, and the fact that is cost zero $$'s doesn't hurt either. LOL.
One of our DC providers is closed 3 weeks this year.
I'm taking the first week, H and I are overlapping the 2nd, and he's taking the3rd. The remaining week I have of vacation this year (which is now down to 3 days) will be for kid sicknesses/appts and the like.
I also get 5 sick days, but I very rarely take a sick day for myself, so... yeah. Kind of a waste there.
I don't know what we'll do with our week off together - likely local trips or camping.

Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
This Cluttered Life
My company lets you buy PTO at the beginning of the year so I bought a week to be safe. I'm sure a lot of it will be sick days and Pedi visits.
We are going to the Hamptons for a week this summer and possibly Vegas in December for a long weekend. Other than that, we'll go to my family's beach house for a few long weekends here and there.
This weekend is a long weekend, going home for a wedding.
Other than that, it's getting used up during maternity leave.
I get about 30 days of PTO, but DH only gets like 10 days of vacation, 10 days of sick and he has to accrue his leave throughout the year.
I took a week long staycation by myself earlier this month - it was good for a few days, but then I started worrying about things at work and was trying not to check in on things, but also didn't want to totally check out. It was good and I got some things done, but I need to either be in or out.
We're taking a week a beach in June w/ DH family - which is fun, but also stressful w/ everyone. I'm taking a few days off afterward (and DD will go back to school) just to catch up/unpack, etc.
We're going to Florida for the week of Labor Day and staying @ BIL's condo. I'm actually excited for this trip, just us and I think it'll be a blast and DD is old enough to explore stuff and enjoy outings, etc.
I have a few days scheduled off for field trips for DD or doctor's appointments, etc.
Depending on if I get KU this spring or not, I may take some additional time off.
OMG! Congratulations!!! H&H 9 months!
Renting a Vermont lake house with my mom in August. Can't wait! We have a lot of yard work to do, so I will take some time for that. Plus a couple long weekends down on Cape Cod. I am really looking forward to the Summer!
My BFF just invited us to her timeshare in Aruba in January. Now the question is if we should bring the kids...

We are renting a beach house in FL in June - can't wait!
A couple of days will go to DS#3's food challenges in the fall.
Saving two days to use the week of Christmas.
I used about a day's worth for MIL's funeral.
That leaves me 10 hours of holiday and 61 hours of general leave to use up. I am sure I will find a way!

we will spend 3-4 days with dh's family I think at a lake within driving distance sometime the week of july 4th, and then another 4-5 days with my fam at the RI beaches in august.
Hoping to do a long weekend just DH & I and the girls in September...
other than that - it's all saved for the inevitable sick days/doctor appts/etc.etc...altho I do plan to get in a mental health day and here there...
We are going on our cruise in May, whohoo! Booked it last year, several months before the drama with DH's job, so it was touch-and-go if we would cancel for a few months. But it is paid in full without debt, DH got approval for paid time off, and we have about 6 wks to go (and they won't go fast enough). Plus it's the week before Memorial Day, so we'll all have a long weekend to relax afterwards, so the timing is really nice.
DH will have another week available after Sept, no clue yet. I'm planning a week off for Thanksgiving and possibly 2wks off for Christmas/New Years with the way the calendar is falling this year, so he may just book time around that, so we'll be home for holiday chaos.
We took a family vaca to Cancun in February and we'll do Disney and visit family in Miami & Sarasota this fall. Maybe over t-giving so I won't have to take as many vaca days that can be used towards fun days for 'me' in the future.
Sick days are used for my kids illnesses.

As for my vacation time - I'm going to the Coldplay concert in July in Philly so I took two days for that. We're going to the OBX in August for a week. And I'm taking 2 days in the beginning of April because daycare is closed. Other than that, I don't have any plans but I'm sure I'm going to need to take some days here or there.
Husband and I are going to Europe for 10 days in June. Then in August we are going to Iceland for another 10 days, but this time we are bring Ella and my parents.
After these trips, I am not going anywhere because I want to save my PTO for when I get pregnant again.

1 week is going to PTO before my STD kicks in
We're going to hopefully take a couple days off to go to Chicago before school starts in the fall.
Probably a week or so in December for family vacation.
And, I will need to take some time for gallbladder and knee surgery.
I get 30 days off per year. We just booked a 10-day trip to Bermuda for just DH and I. Then we are headed to Norway and Sweden in Sept for about 8 days.
We also plan to go skiing over Christmas week for a few days. We love to travel and are so happy we can start again now that LO is easy for our parents to care for.

I get a lot of time off. For spring break (week after easter), we are going up to the beach house. I will take a few weeks off this summer (and will work four days/week) and then probably a week at Thanksgiving and two at Christmas.
