Ovulation and breakouts?

Question: the past few months, my face broke out mid-cycle. I'm assuming it's related to hormones. For those who do experience mid-cycle/ovulation related acne or pimples, do you happen to know whether it occurs before or during ovulation? I'm just curious for those who have a similar issue....

Ahhh, yes! This is me too. Without fail I break out twice in my cycle.

Bahaha I started laughing out loud at the teenage boy thing. Damn isn't it horrible?!? Oh well, no complaints if it actually means I'm about to ovulate. I won't complain - however it's so amazing how I feel like I work the entire two weeks after AF to clear my skin, then the entire two weeks after ovulation. IF and acne - wonderful!!

I usually get one or two zits the day before or the day of O. 

And then one or two more a day or so before AF shows.

When I first went off the pill I was breaking out a ton.....Includind before O'ing and before my period.... This changed after a few months - until this month, I"m currently on the tale end of a massive break out which indicated Ovulation!

Like you I like having another sign to indicate ovulation, but seriously I look ridiculous!
