Ty does this ALL the TIME!!! It's hilarious! He is such a ham too because it'll get us to laugh and then he does it more and is all smiles and giggles!
Ty also talks to our cats - but he does meow. He growls at them.

This exactly. Is this a milestone or something b/c we never do it at home and never taught him to do it. It is like clapping, he just started doing it one day.

Lexi did it for several weeks and just started to slow down. She started shaking her head no, especially if whatever we were saying to her sounded like a question. It got big laughs (and her daddy would shake his head and do it with her, so it became a game) so she thought it was great fun to grin and shake her head no at EVERYTHING. I was starting to worry she had a weird tic or something and then she stopped doing it
Lucy doesn't shake her head no, but she nods all the time. If you are talking to her she nods yes. It's hilarious. At Gymboree, she always stares at the teacher and nods as he is talking. It's so cute!

LOL I have the same reaction when LO does something new that I think is kinda weird.
I have the same reaction sometimes when Ty does something new that I'm not sure if it's a milestone or not. LIke shaking his head all the time, flailing around in his high chair, etc.!
