Hi ladies!
If you had a beta at 14dpo or 9dp5dt, what was your beta?
My beta today at 9dp5dt was higher than I expected and I keep thinking all day that this may be a bad thing?
I have a daughter conceived through IVF (3rd round) and my beta with her at 10dp5dt was 96.
I had a m/c in the fall at the betas were soaring. High and looked "great." But not viable, after 8 weeks I lost it naturally. 14dpo was 208.
So, today at 9dp5dt my beta was 328. More than triple what I had for my daughter. I'm of course freaked out that this one will be another m/c. Has anyone else heard of "great" betas turning into miscarriages, repeatedly?
I don't know if any of this makes sense. Sorry. I need to step away from google and just enjoy the BFP, but of course the IF dark cloud always seems to be looming.
TIA for any thoughts. Sorry for the rambling.
Re: 9dp5dt - beta Q
Honestly, a high beta doesn't necessarily indicate a problem, and yours doesn't even seem that terribly high to me. It can mean you are pregnant with multiples or a molar pregnancy, or it can mean nothing at all and be perfectly normal! How many embies did you transfer?

beta numbers can vary pregnancy to pregnancy. my bff's HCG was low with her first but very high with her second. Both healthy pregnancies.
if you want to compare, my first beta was at 10dp5dt, repeated every 3-4 days. I was nervous about multiples but we just have one. I"m not even 7 weeks yet though. In my history, low betas have always been early losses.
good luck

Thanks so much ladies. Every little bit helps.
kelnyc, we put in 2. One "good" and one "slow grower but good."
I really appreciate the feedback ladies. You are right, it's just hard not to worry about every.little.thing.
There is really no way to tell. The beta is really insignificant in the long run. I had great betas w my first pregnancy, and it ended in a mc. I had great betas w this one, and it's going well.
Ots stressful, but u just have to wait and see. Praying all is well!
My betas are in my sig. My first was at 9dp5dt.
Its hard to stay calm when battling IF. Just take it one day at a time. Today, you are pregnant. Congratulations!!
