I don't know about everyone else, but since the weather has been warming up our house has gotten warm. It hasn't been hot enough to turn on the air, but sometimes it gets a little warm in our house. I'm struggling to dress Ty for bed accordingly. It seems like we went from fleece sleepers to needing SS jammies. What are you dressing your LO in if it's getting warmer in your house, and what is the temp generally at at night?
I'm debating buying him some shortsleeve jammies with the Carters deal listed below!
Re: Jammies
We had a hard time making up our minds what to put him in each night last week. Our house was 75 degrees or more all of last week. Most of the jammy-jams (The Office, anyone?) we have in his current size are fleece.
I ended up buying a couple pairs of short sleeved two piece pjs and I found some short sleeved sets in a bag of old clothes from my nephew...they were size 18 months, but they fit V pretty well.
We are back to cold again this week. It was only 40 outside when we woke up and back down to our normal 70 inside this AM.
Ha, I almost made the post title Jammy-Jams!
Where did you get the ss 2-pieces. Aside from online, all I can find are LS in store.
I got a set of ss Cars pjs at Walmart and my MIL bought him a short sleeved set too. It is Carters, but I don't know where she bought it.
I had some ss undershirts too (plain white, not a onesie) and I used the pants from the sets 2 nights in a row...not the shirts because he is drooly. The pants still smelled fine so I figured NBD.
Awesome, thanks! I rarely look at walmart for clothes, I know I need to more often! And, until then I'd considered just plain onesies. I feel like a bad mommy - we don't have much that fits him right now, at least not seasonally appropriate!
peace,

My Blog: Decorate This
If I feel like it is warm, I do a onesie + cotton sleep sack. Cooler--footie pjs + cotton sleep sack. Cold--footie pjs + fleece sleep sack. (All the sleep sacks are sleeveless)
I feel like the sleep sack is part of our night/nap routine, so I want to keep doing it even if it is warmer.
Last week it was so bloody hot, I didn't know what to put him in! I wasn't around one evening to put LO to bed since I had parent/teacher conferences and I came home to a 80 degree house. I heard LO awake and I couldn't figure out why until I walked in and saw that DH had put him in fleece footie pjs. The poor kid was soaking in his own sweat. I swear, DH doesn't use his brain sometimes. LOL I just changed him right into a onesie that night.
Starting yesterday, we're back in the 50s/60s so we're back to footie pjs. I need to buy some cooler pjs too!
We put Reed in ss jammies this past week when it was so warm. Now it's getting colder, so back to long sleeves!
We have a few pairs of short sleeve jammies from Old Navy and really like them! They are on sale for $10 right now...just an FYI!
Here's a link! The robot pair is adorable, but they have other designs as well.
