First 5k since being pregnant

Nothing really special, just felt the need to share

I completed my 10th total 5k (since Sept 2010) on Saturday, which was the first for this year and the first since I found out I was pregnant. I knew my time wasn't gonna be near what it was, but just getting out there and knowing I'm probably one of a few if not the ONLY pregnant runner out there, was such a GREAT feeling!

 An even better feeling, was completing it side by side with my 12yr old brother (his 2nd 5k ever) and he shaved off 6min from his last race in Oct! So proud of him! If doc clears me Thursday, I have another 5k in April and my final in May (with my mom and middle brother, both their first ever). Summer in my area is too hot for me to run in before I was pregnant, so I don't see my 5k's continuing til after I have lil Miranda.
