The doctor said my cervix was right where it should be at this stage in the cycle..nice and open. He also said my CM was perfect and J had "great swimmers"...so we're keeping our fringers crossed.
I'm exhausted and I've been having some mild cramping off and on throughout the day.
sigh...
Re: Update on my IUI
Good luck!
I've been thinking about you too...how did yours go?
I did a long update on the NorCal Nestie Board...here is what I wrote:
The IUI was painless...the most uncomfortable part was when they put in that thingy that clicks..whats that called?? you know the one they use for your yearly exam.
Anyhow....She said my follicle was probably to about 21mm today since it was 16 on Tuesday (they grow about 2mm a day is what she said)
She said my lining should be well over 7 since it was 6.8 on Tuesday and that it will continue to thicken..so all good there.
And the last part of the equation was DH's swimmers...and they were...........FANTASTIC!
Pre-wash stats (the stats before they wash the sperm)
Volume: 1.6
Count: 89.6 million
Motility: 82%
Motility Grading: 4 (best result...very vigorous foward progression)
Number of motile sperm in specimen: 117.5 million
Post-wash stats (the stats after they wash the sperm)
Count: 109.2 (I have no idea how this number goes up?)
Motility: 63%
Motility Grading: 4
Number of motile sperm in specimen: 34.3 million (they usually want at least 1 million so that is good!)
She had me lay down for 10 minutes after the IUI so that the sperm would go to the fallopian tubes...can you believe that..it only takes 10 minutes! But I stayed and layed around for about 30 minutes because it is supposed to increase your chances.
So now I am just hoping that my 1 egg gets fertilized, implants and sticks!!
Oh and I have been having cramping too....first what I had ovulatory pain (which is more than likely because I ovulated...and I only know that because of the trigger) and now all over cramping...actually it is pretty uncomfortable.
Good luck to you again!...I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!
