    Pretty much this.

    I wouldn't use Ava due to super trendiness, but it's better than that mess.

    What's wrong with good ol' Evalyn?

    I dont think its bad at all! Although Ava is extremely popular, the Avalyn breaks it apart a bit.

    I normally hate smoosh names. 

    I like this one though, because it is my niece's name and it has grown on me.

    She pronounces is Av-ah-lyn and her nn is pronounced Ah-vee.
