Update to T & Ps

I had posted two weeks back that my dad has kidney cancer. He just got the kidney removed Wednesday and the enlarged lymph nodes. The results came back and the cancer has not spread, so no need for chemo. He'll be monitored with CT scans. He's recovering and will  be home tomorrow or Monday. Thanks for the T&Ps.

That's great news! My dad has a beautiful scar from where his kidney was removed for the same reason about 12 years ago.

Oh no... Glad to hear everything came out good!! My Dad went through the same thing a few years back. They were able to take it out with no chemo or speading. He also had to get monitored by scans every 6 months.  Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to keep him from smoking.

That's great! It's good to know they both lucked out. I definitely think my family will be closer as a result.

 It stinks about the smoking. I'm sure it's tough to quit. Glad he's okay.
