After much debate we may have finally picked a name. I never realized how hard it would be to come up with a name that first we agree on but also one that he won't be teased for. What do you all think of either Jayden Robert C. or Jayden Joseph C.?
Not a fan of Jayden at all. I'm guessing you're not going to get a good response on that one as the -aden names are thought to be overdone on this board.
Honestly? It's awful. Do you realize every other kid is being named -ayden something right now? We can't go to the park without hearing ten people yelling for Ayden or Jayden or Kayden or Brayden. GAG.
Keep thinking.

Hmm...I guess I don't spend much time on this board. Thank you for your responses!
Huh? It's not just this board. Go look for yourself. Jayden is the #4 name in the US for boys, and if you add up all the -ayden names your head will spin:

I'm sorry, what I meant because you all have already had this discussion. I never realized how many similar names are out there and popular right now! Back to the drawing board!

Oh, gotcha. Sorry, I'm cranky today and any mention of the -ayden names makes me crankier.
That SS name list is really helpful, I think. Good luck choosing!

In the afternoon class where my son goes to preschool, there is a Kaiden, Braden, Aidan, and Aiden. I know two Jaydens (various spellings), one a boy and one a girl. And I know three Cades, which is in my head the same as Caden.
So, yes, the name and similar variations, are extremely popular right now. I'd steer clear if I were you.

You're right, he wont be teased for this name in school; There will be 10 Jayden's in his class.
Good job deciding though, it can be tough.
I like Robert as a MN.
I see that you've already gotten some (warranted) "NO!"s... but honestly, that is easily my least favorite name. Terrible.
Robert is a nice middle name.
I love the name Joseph but I would stay away from Jayden.
Maybe Joseph as a first name?
