DH has a new job....sort of....

DH was let go three weeks ago after being at a new company for a week and half.

Well, he just got a job offer for a temp to perm position and he starts next week!!! The reason it's temp is it's the CFO's way of getting DH started ASAP without having to wait for DH to meet the CEO. I guess they also did this with a few other employees they recently hired and they were all perm within three weeks or less.

Money is slightly less than DH's old job, but extremely doable. And the best part is this is an awesome fit for DH and he LOVES the company and the position.

So, fingers crossed this is a perm position shortly!!

Great news! Especially for a Friday! When my DH was laid off a year ago it took him about the same amount of time, 3 weeks, to find a new job.

DS has been in full time daycare for the last three weeks. DH is being paid through the end of this month and has been busy with interviews, so it did work out well, but I think we would have went to PT starting next month.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. I'm so grateful and we are so lucky it only took him 3 weeks to sort of land a great position.
