We considered it for a mn as it's dh's grandfather's mn. It's nice, but I don't love it.

This was one of my favorites for DS but not DH's. I would have fought for it more but I am not a big fan of the nicknames that it would get "Ev" or "Rhett" and I learned from DD that you can't stop people from assigning nicknames to shorten their name.

It always struck me as an old man name. It baffles me that it's so popular now. It's incredibly popular. I don't particularly care for it, but, as trendy names go, it's actually a nice one to choose.

I love the name. We ultimately went with Bennett but Everett and Emmett were both serious contenders. (I definitely had a theme there...lol).
