Axid dosage and reflux

Hi moms,

DD recently switched from Axid 1 ml 3x a day to 1.8ml twice a day. She now seems to be regressing and having issues with the reflux again. My thought is that 12 hours between dosage is too much. In fact, the dose seems to upset her now and, as we know, if she spits up right after the meds it's a waste. Sorry to ramble! Did your LO have issues when switching to a larger, less frequent dose?

I don't have any experience with Axid... and I haven't heard it brought up on this board before. My LO is on zantac and prilosec. But he is on Zantac 3x day and Prilosec 2x day. The time in between shouldn't matter, I wouldn't think. Talk to your GI if you are worried about it!
