If you are doing an Easter basket for your LO, what are you putting in it? So far I have bubbles and a small toy and maybe a book. What else should I put in it?
I got him one of the tag blankets, then I also got him this pinwheel that lights up that he just fell in love with at the store. I got him a new flavor of puffs, a squeeze baby food pouch, a onesie, a bunny hat, and some sippy cups. I think that will be perfect!!!

I'm not doing one for several reasons - first he won't have any idea what it is, second my aunt and cousins already told me they are making him one and third, I feel like Easter baskets are out of control any more. It's almost like another Christmas with all the stuff people put in them. To me, Easter was a strictly candy holiday and N doesn't need candy

I got some plates/bowls and spoons. I want to go to Target since they usually have some easter Little People. And that's about it. It's a smal basket. I'm only putting things in it since D will want to know why his little brother didn't get an Easter basket.

We decided to do an Easter basket. We are not spending more then 15 dollars. We got books and a stuffed bunny that says "my first easter". My husband also bought candy that he is putting in there for himself.

We got her some books, puffs, minnie mouse sunglasses, and some Elmo themed eggs just for fun (with nothing in them). We are also going to place some eggs in the yard and help her collect them. I think we spent 10-15 dollars at Target.
I wanted to add that my older kid's basket is no big deal either. He's getting 2 different things of bubbles, a couple hot wheels cars, a train for his wooden track, some art supplies, and a chocolate bunny. When I'm in Target, if I see anything else cute in the $spot, I'll pick it up. Otherwise we're done. He's more into looking for Easter eggs anyway.

I haven't actually purchased anything yet, but I'm going to get her a few bath toys, blocks, and a sun hat. These are things I want to get her anyway, so Easter is my excuse.
We do small baskets; i also make a basket every year for DH. She'll get an Easter book, some water shoes, a new beach hat and a stuffed bunny. DH normally just gets candy and a dvd, though this year he'll get lens cleaner for his camera too. Mostly its just items she needs/I already bought i just save them for the basket.

Probably some puffs and yogurt melts, those pinwheel things for the garden (he stares out our back door and watches them constantly), and maybe a couple outfits. He needs spring and summer clothes so I'm using Easter as an excuse to buy them.
I got her two wooden puzzles (Wayy too old for her, but I couldn't resist. I'll tuck them away doe now) some bubbles, a bug container, (<- prob for for me, haha) and I'm going leave some eggs filled with puffs out She loves feeling like shes getting into things, so I may line some of them along the tablets well.
Nothing major, just enough to say I got her a basket.
I'm going to get a few small board books, some bubbles and big plastic easter eggs. I won't put anything in them, but he'll love to bang them together! We also bought Muppets on Blu-Ray, so if we haven't opened it yet he'll get that as well. However, since technically we bought it for us, we may watch it tonight!
We bought Emmalee the chick stuffed animal from Kohls (for the Kohls for Kids), an Easter book with the Mouse from If You Give A Mouse a Cookie and an Easter bib. That's it!
I feel like Easter baskets are out of control any more. It's almost like another Christmas with all the stuff people put in them.
I totally agree with this. We are doing a basket for her, but just with a few things she needs or we were going to buy anyway: a few books, some yogurt melts and a bathing suit.
The actual basket is a chicky head. Inside is a medium sized bouncy ball with Mickey Mouse on it, a MM Easter book, rabbit ears, a small maraca toy that he loves, a stuffed chenille bunny.
Re: Easter baskets?
I agree with gymnast...Easter baskets have gotten way out of control! I think most of the holidays have in regards to gifts!
We will be getting DS a basket but it will be small. There will be a book or two, some bubbles and a stuffed bunny. But that's about it!
