Preseed stories???

Hi all -

I just bought Preseed tonight and plan on using it this cycle (4th cycle trying).  Does anyone have any personal stories related to it?  I've looked around online and found a ton of great stories of success using it, but not sure how real they are... I know you all are real

I also just got some and we used it for the first time this morning. I used a teeny tiny drop externally and DH felt it was too lubey, and ended up not being able to finish I think we'll need to get used to it. From what I've heard / read, you should start with smaller amounts and build up if you want to, rather than doing the full "dose" internally.

I really like it, just as a lube, since I don't know yet if it will help with TTC, but I figure it can't hurt. I actually prefer it to KY which we used to use. We usually use it externally but I have used the applicators if I don't have much EWCM.

Thats what happened for us too. And yes it takes some getting used to. Good luck!

We really like it. I just use a dab on him externally and it makes sex much more enjoyable for us. I have adenomyosis and it makes sex somewhat painful at times so this has worked wonders for us. I can't image using the applicators though. That just seems like way too much. GL!

If you're not accustomed to using lube ever, it can be weird. 

The point of the pre-seed is that it mimics high-quality cervical mucus and provides the sperm with a really helpful "ladder" to swim up and through your os (cervical opening).  I'd use the (strange and clunky) applicator to put a small quantity of pre-seed onto your cervix before sex.  It's much less likely to affect the experience of sex for your partner if it's not slathered all over his johnson (or whatever the polite word for penis is around these parts).

I have used it the past few months, ovviously no BFP yet.  My only word of caution is that a little goes a LONG way.  It is very slippery, so we just ended up using a drop as lube. That works great, but I am not sure it has the same effects as with the inserts.

I toss the inserts as well.  I just dap some on DH and dap a little on myself.  Obviously no BFP yet, but here's hoping!

This.  We used it a few times this cycle and a little goes a long way. No complaints here.

My DH and I used this for 3 months before getting pregnant (we tried for 7 months total).  At first, he didn't like it either but I explained how it was "supposed" to help so we kept at it.  I used the applicator to shoot just a little up there and hope that wouldn't feel as "lubey" on his shaft.  I'm not sure obviously how much that contributed to our BFP but I can say based on others, it probably did help a little.
