My husband just sent me a text from his SA

He's in the room and said they have porn.  He was pretty excited about that!

Glad they have something to help him out b/c he was pretty nervous about it this morning.

    Expecting Boy/Girl Twins! My babies were born 4/23/13 at 36w1d!

    DH was so bummed at the porn selection. They only had "Blond Big Boob Teen" and that's not his style. I reminded him to bring something better on his phone. ;)
    ttc since 2/2010 ~
    me (36): Hypothyroid (on Levothroid), low vit. d, borderline/high fsh (day 3: between 7-10) (day 10: 13 during CCCT), AFC: 14
    dh (31): awesome (minus one sample with agglutination)
    Diagnosis:possible DOR and/or unexplained + elevated NK cells + MTHFR (C677T - one copy)

    MAY 2011 - FEB 2012 - 3 injectable IUI's with numerous cancellations due to high TSH levels
    MAY 2012 - onto IVF/ICSI (Antagonist Protocol) on BCP and Folgard (3 week delay - cyst - boooo) 5/21 start stims 5/30 ER 11R 8M 3F 6/2 3DT of 3 6/12 Beta #1 83 | 6/14 Beta #2 196 | 6/21 Beta #3 3818 | 6/28 Beta #4 22,213 | 7/2 1st U/S - 2 on board! 8/24 CVS reveals that we have a boy AND a girl on board!

    Healthy baby boy and girl born in February, 2013 at 38 weeks and 2 days!

    This post cracked me up-- MH and I were talking about this 2 days ago because if we don't get a BFP this cycle, that's probably going to be the next step. I was so nervous to broach the subject to him, but I shouldn't have worried-- his first comment was "they give you stuff to look at, right? I can handle that. No biggie." I'm the one who was thinking, "Do they wash stuff before you get in there? How do you concentrate when you know that people outside know what you're doing in there? How do you aim?"

    LOL...DH was quite happy with the porn collection at our RE's (FYI/TMI: he finally decided on Tommy's Asian Adventure) but mostly he was just super happy they had a flat screen TV since his greatest (unspoken) worry up to that point was "how do I hold my iPhone with one hand while......"

    To this day this mental image--not him actually doing it mind you--but just him alone in this room, poor lost lamb...iPhone in one hand, collection thingy in another...just turning around, lost trying to figure out what the hell to do--THAT image makes me silently giggle for hours.

    Me =39/ DH = 40 TTC casually since 2010, hardcore since 9/2011. FSH, HSG all good, DH has slight MFI. 1st IUI 3/13/12= BFN 2nd IUI= BFN
    3rd IUI @ MAY 4--AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!!! (...in my uterus)

    I'm glad he was ok with it, but my imagination would be running wild with thoughts of previous men in there.

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    This mental image has me giggling as well, sorry that I am now picturing your DH. I'll stop, I swear :)

    I haven't really pictured DH in the room, though I ask him the same questions about it frequently and he keeps saying "you already asked me that" and I seriously keep forgetting the answers.

    His biggest complaint is having to finish off in that cold hard cup with the sharp edges. He also was embarassed to see two girls from the andrology lab in the lobby of the building right after he had gone in to do his thing...

    I say, suck it up big guy, I'm the one with a dildo cam looking around every 3 days and poking my belly with needles twice a day.  

    TTC since 3/2010. Me 41, DH-49. After 3 years, 6 IUIs and several IVFs we have finally have our beautiful baby girl, born on 11/7/13.

    He was actually grossed out afterward and hoping that they cleaned it after each "use".  I mean they are supposed to get it in the cup but you know some of it goes other places.  EW...I am grossing myself out.

    He said he kept thinking someone was going to walk in.  I told him I am pretty sure they know what's going on in there and nobody wants to see that!!
