Anyone else Constipated? ;(

I'm sorry but I am dying over here.Ugh, ever since I had that bad stomach ache on Monday I cant seem to go I tried eating raisen bran, fruit, nothing is helping. I realize between the clomid,trigger shot, and prometrium, my poor body is going through a lot.

If you had this issue, what did you do for relief? Can I take stool softners or lacative? I dont know what is safe and whats not...

Prune juice.  And I would look on one of those board on what is safe while PG to see about the stool softeners or laxatives.  I figure, if it's safe then, it's safe now.  Or take the easy route and just call your RE.

Activia Yougurt is something my RE suggested to me. I deal with constipation all the time. I've also broken down and taken miralax before (I would just double check with your RE). Also fiber one bars, one a day, have helped me in the past too.

Ugh, yes I get that with some IVF meds, and definitely when I am stressed. I use Smooth Move tea from Traditional Medicinals. You can usually get them at grocery stores. That seems to help a lot.

Stool softeners are a lot more gentle than laxatives. Some prenatals have one in them so they should be safe. Also pear nectar prune juice peanut butter and fiber supplements can help or fiber one bars. Hope you feel relief soon it's miserable

Thanks Everyone I called my RE he said stool softners and most lacatives are safe right now so hopefully I will feel better but thanks for the suggestions Im off to buy prune juice, fiber one bars, activia and stool softners lol

Happens to me, too.  I take a probiotic supplement for my IBS, drink boatloads of water, and occasionally need Miralax.  Half a dose can work just as well as a full dose.  My girlfriend used Miralax post-partum, and my doc said it's okay.  Good luck!
