Abdomen Hardening?

When does your abdomen start to harden during pregnancy? I was feeling mine the other day and it feels harder than it did before. It was hard in the lower part of my abdomen. Today, it is feeling harder up to my belly button. I hope this means the baby is continuing to grow!!

    Mine was squishy till about 24 weeks then I could feel where the baby was by how hard that area of my belly was. As of last week I can now tell where his butt is and head is.

    I think it'd be different for everyone depending on if you have extra "padding" on your abdomen or not. lol....for me I probably won't feel it for awhile, since I have a lot of extra padding on my abdomen. lol
