Newborn CDs that fit below umbilical cord

Ok....so I have been ordering things over time for a newborn stash. I have 1 dozen GMD prefolds orange, 4 BG XS AIOs, 9 KL0 fitteds, 4 WAHM fitteds, 2 HH Mini, 2 Thirties XS Covers, 3 Thirties Duo Covers Size 1, and 1 Weehuggers Cover size small (because the whale print is just too cute to pass up!). I really want to start diapering while in the hospital birth center (I have talked to them and their regulations allow this). I just want to make sure that the stash I have will truly fit under the umbilical cord w/o irritating it. I love the KL0s snap down, but since the covers do not, will they rub? Also, it says that the BG xs sits low enough, but I recently read a blog post that said it did rub and they had to wait two weeks before trying again. Are there other newborn CDs that you would recommend that can be used very early on (before umbilical stump falls off)? Thx!

I used the BG XS AIOs and the KL0s (with a prorap NB cover with the umbilical dip) from the start. Neither rubbed on the umbilical stump. The Thirsties XS cover would have been fine as well, but DD was so skinny I didn't end up using that for 2 weeks or so. DD was 7lb 5oz at birth.

we also used Lil joeys a lot and lots of WAHM fitteds with the snap down rise then with a cover with a dip over them, the covers didnt irritate the cord over the snap down rise cuz the bulge of the snap down rise kept the cover away from the stump, does that make sense?
