Why not just make a big punch bowl full of pink lemonade- not the powdered kind, but real lemonade.
I forget the exact proportions, but I did it last summer just by slicing some lemons and kind of letting them "seep" with 1/2 cold water and 1/2 boiling water and sugar. then add just a little tiny bit of cranberry juice for the "pink" part. I'm trying to find the actual recipe for you....

Do 1 cup of sugar and 2-3 lemons per 8 cups of cold water (I was wrong, don't boil the water).
Cut up the lemons and pour the sugar over them, smoosh them all up together and then add the cold water on top.
To make it pink - try replacing 1/2 cup of water with cranberry juice.
What about selzer water? You can substitute that for soda.
And since it's a kids party I would make a pineapple, orange, banana type punch and float fruit.
