Baby K'Tan Questions

I'm currently scheduled to have my lil man next week but have a few questions about the baby k'tan before then.

My sister recently gave me one. She had used it with her second child and loved it but was unable to use it with her last due to back problems(he is now 10 months old and too heavy for her to carry constantly).

Because this was a hand-me-down there are no instructions. Luckily we happen to be the same size so that isnt an issue. However figuring out how to use it is. I've been able to find some pretty helpful videos and looked at the website, but I was wondering if there was a place to get a pamphlet?

Instead of looking up how to put Kai into the K'tan I'd like to have papers I can take with me. Expecially since I wont be able to just google at will. I'd rather not have to go through the trouble of drawing and writing out all of the steps for each position..

So do you know of a place where I could print off instructions? The website had something like that but said I needed adobe flash, which is something I dont have.

Also- what is the best position for a new born?

Thankyou

Re: Baby K'Tan Questions

  • I also left out one more question- I keep reading about how you can store it all in the sash pocket. How is this possible? It seems like there is way too much fabric to fit in that tiny little pocket?

    Again, thankyou

we loved the kangaroo hold for newborn and then switched to the hug at about 2 months or so. love the k'tan. so easy to use.

the pouch is new - i have two k'tans and one has it and the other doesnt. oh well. maybe you can just buy a new sash?

  • I had wondered what this pouch was for... guess I should have read something :)  Well, I had used it to hold my cell phone and a diaper but tried to pack the whole thing in the pouch and you know it does fit.
