My boss just secretly (like whispers and all) let each employee with a child leave early. Even the ones with freaking little babies that won't even trick or treat - I heard one say to him "He's so small I don't think we'll even be taking him out!"
The only people left in the office are me and the one other childless employee. This is odd right? I mean, if it was totally cool and not weird and unfair, why all the whispering? Hmm.

Yeah - exactly. There are only two of us left...what's the big deal? And for such a lame thing. There are reasons that I'd probably not care if he did that (ie. bad weather = school closing) but this just seems kinda crappy.
Needless to say, I won't be doing anymore work for the day :P
Hmm. For holidays such as Mother's Day and Halloween, I always let my staff with children off first.
