We get a solid "uh-oh" out of Lydia, but that's the only thing she "means" to say. She also spouts out a "da da da da" but that's just baby babble. I haven't noticed that she really says anything else besides babble.....
He says dada... for many things, but when DH is not paying attention to him, LO will look at him and say, "Ay! Dada!" So I think he gets it on some level.
Started saying bye-bye when he waves...we're still working on hi.
He used to say mama but stopped about a month ago and doesn't say it anymore.
I'll trade ya one of our da-das for one ma-ma, that's all I ask for!
Lot's of consonants sounds but nothing concrete. He seems to call the dogs gee and he's been saying something like thi-tha which I think it's he's way of saying "chichita" my spanish for boobies, it crack us up every time he dive for my boobs saying thi-tha and I think he says ma for "mas" which is "more" in spanish since he only says it when he's eating. Otherwise it's just lots of jibberish, lots! I love it.
Pretty much "mama" or "mommom" here. I've heard "dada" once and DH wasn't even here Tons of baby jibberish, though. We just pretend it's actual words so they keep talking to us.
mama, dada (although I'm not sure if she means it yet), teh (which I think is cat), and nin (for ninja, a very special stuffed toy... I know we are weird.)

We have thought she was saying "Mama" and "Dada" a while back, but she hasn't really done it much lately. Maybe that was just babbling, but there was a few times where it really sounded like she was saying it and meaning to. One time I thought she said "cat" when the cat walked by her, but it was more like "K-tah" and she repeats a sound that is almost like "dog" except the "g" is almost silent when she is watching or petting the dog. So, she isn't saying anything exactly but is, I think, forming some small words.
he says mama, dada, and he also says "gog-gee" when dogs are around. sometimes he will say one thing for a whole week and then stop and start saying something else.
Re: What does LO say?
Dada for a while now
Mama as of this morning (yessss)
Baba (not directly referring to anything in particular)
then a lot of nonsense jibberish
