What is the best/safest booster?

I need to do some Consumer Reports reviews but figured you ladies have already done that for me.  Wink  Olivia will be 5 in May and is getting near the height limit on her Britax Marathon (49) at 43 inches...  (Price doesn't really matter.)

Re: What is the best/safest booster?

  • Boosters need to properly fit the kid. Some boosters will fit most kids well in most cars and others fit some kids great and are lousy for others. I know my daughter's seat fits her really well in our car but is incompatible in my mom's car (different seatbelt geometry puts the lap belt in the wrong place).

If she's slender I've heard great things about the britax parkway and recaro vivo fitting slender kids. The diono monterey tends to fit larger/broader kids very well. The graco turbobooster is known for fitting most kids really well in most cars and is a great seat as well.

Also, just an FYI, but all seats pass the exact same pass/fail tests in order to be allowed on the market, so should be treated as equally safe.
