Brayden is the most common spelling. Braden is my nephew but I have heard a couple people mispronounce it and say "brad-en" instead of the AY sound (most ppl get it though). If Brady is going to be the NN then I think Braden is a good spelling.

I knew what name this was going to be about before I even opened the post. I think Braden makes the most sense in your case with the nn Brady. I would have probably said Brayden otherwise because it is the most common.

Brayden and Braeden seem the most legit to me. Something about Braden looks unfinished. I don't think the added "y" would affect your nn; lots of nns don't match up with the full name.

I kind of agree with this. I used to LOVE this name (10+ years ago) but it is just too common for my liking, I've found. I used to like it spelled as Brayden or Braeden...but since frequenting these boards, the "y" and "e" in the middle just seem unnecessary. At the same time, Braden looks unfinished. However, it would make sense if it is spelled that way if you plan to use the nn Brady.
ps. Brady is on my list. I like it.

I guess I don't really understand using Brady as a nn for Braden. They are both two syllables. It's basically the same name.
