I wouldn't use a nickname. It's so short on its own.
Same here. My name is Renee, and I have never had a nickname.
Agreed. Let one develope on its own. DD's name is Renee and we call her weird cutesy versions of her name and some nn's not even related. Renee-b-cakes, Renee-b, Naybe, Kidface, Drool pants, fuss butt.....and sometimes we just call her "R".
Thanks Everyone! I'm sure the nickname will just happen naturally, as they usually do... I guess I just wanted to see what came to people's minds when they heard the name.
And when I was considering the name, I thought of every nickname that could probably come out of Riane, and Ree-Ree was the only one I shuddered at LOL

Ree is the only nickname I can see coming directly from the name, but I've found nicknames have a way of creating themselves!!!
I went to school with a Riane and everyone called her Ree-Ree. Not the best NN.
I agree that since its short, I wouldnt worry about a NN
