Question(s) of the Day:
Yesterday was St. Patty's day -- no beer for litle mis Detox here.... yesterday we did our taxes and seems Mr President has all my IVF#2 $$ as I will be getting back around $20k !!! We went out for breakfast with our 80 old neighbors, they are lovely people and they look forward to this day once a month. Had leftovers for dinner and just caught up on life.
Multiple ectopics, 2 failed IVF's

Update: We transferred two beautiful 8-cell embies yesterday and froze 6 other day three embies. I pretty much camped out on the couch yesterday and plan to spend most of today here too
QOTD: I wore some pretty awesome lucky St. Patty's Day socks to my ET: green with green shamrocks, from the fabulous MsGM. Didn't do anything else fun, but definitely hoping for the luck o' the Irish -- that one or these embies are keepers!

Update:
Beta #2 tomorrow - doubling vibes needed
:::does a happy dance for CD1:::
I for one would love for you to stick around for as long as we keep check-ins going! You've been such a fabulous support system for all of us, and I want for us to be there for you too. Also, you don't have to choose -- you can always post in Spring Chicks as well.
Plus sometimes it's nice to be with women who literally just went through it, so we can say "oh! that's what happened to me," etc.
And if you're a Chick too, you can have the best of both worlds.

Update -I have betas on 3/26 and 3/28, but they won't tell me the results of either until the 28th. I'm sure I'll have POAS by then because I have no self control.
QOTW - I cheated on my bedrest a little bit for St. Patricks day. My friends down the street were having a low key gathering so I simply relocated my bedrest to their couch instead of ours for the evening.

FET currently on hold
Congrats to the BFP's!
{{HUGS}} to the BFN's.
Lots of postive energy and GL to those doing ER/ET this week and those in the 2WW and limbo!
Update: My RE just called and said everything looks good with my donor (on Friday the nurse told me she had 28 follies -14 on each side!). He said that her ER would most likely be Wednesday with my ET on Saturday. Instead of taking the Valium they offered me, I'm planning to schedule a 2 hour massage (DH got me a GC for my birthday) on Friday night and doing nothing but watching tv, reading and nesting the rest of the weekend!
Question(s) of the Day:
Yesterday was St. Patty's day -- and of course none of us are in the position to go wild and drink lots of beer! Did you do anything to celebrate St. Patty's day anyway? Usually, I would at least wear green, but yesterday I did nothing specific to celebrate.
Good luck to joules12 (beta#6 tomorrow) and genmalone. luvboston Congrats on your 2 delicious embies that you transferred! GROW!!
Maybe, things are looking great for your embies! Sending lots of good vibes to you!
HappyIAm- CONGRATS!! So happy for you!!Farmerlynda, you are PUPO and feeling good about it! So happy for you, and hoping that your embies are snuggling in SUPER tight for the long haul.
Sending lots of encouragement to all the ladies who feel like they're never going to get there -- whether they are waiting to get started, on stims, or in the midst of the 2ww.

UPDATE: ER is tomorrow morning! Please pray for my 2 follies that they are both filled with big fat juicy healthy eggies that will go the distance. I am SO nervous about it. With only 2, there is no room for less!

We cleaned house did a big grocery shop and prepared as much as we could so we could relax today. No St Patty celebration here

Update: We were out shopping when I got a call from our embryologist yesterday letting us know that we had 3 frosties. 3!!! I almost hit the floor when she said that. We froze 2 4AA's and a 4AB - interestingly all of our frosties are higher grade than what we transferred (3AB and a 3BA). Less than 2 months ago, we got the DOR speech from our former RE, saying that we had a 1-2% chance of ever conceiving with my own eggs. This has been such a f-ing roller coaster!
QOTD: We went out to dinner, but nothing really "celebratory" - just trying to take it easy since I'm only a few days out from my ET.

Bubs, wow 28 follicles! This looks so promising! I also had a massage the night before my ET - I was a ball of nerves and it really helped relax me. Good luck!

Update: just been hanging out in our hotel room all weekend resting. Happy that the Embryologist was so reassuring about our embies. Beta #1 on Sat the 24th and Beta #2 on Monday the 26th ( which we won't know until the second beta what our results are).
QOTD: I wore my green t-shirt and lucky charm necklace. We watched t.v, read magazines and slept all day. That was it for us!

Question(s) of the Day: Yesterday was St. Patty's day -- and of course none of us are in the position to go wild and drink lots of beer! Did you do anything to celebrate St. Patty's day anyway? We went to a BDay party Friday night. So fun
Congrats to all of the BFP's and to genmalone and farmerlynda for successful ET's this weekend! Hugs to all of the BFN's and everyone else that needs them.
Update: I am on day 9 of stims. I had an u/s today, and my biggest follie is 18. I have 5 right now that my RE says look good, and 6 more that he thinks might catch up. I don't go back until Tuesday, and I am so freaked out that I'm going to somehow O on my own before ER!! He assured me that as long as the Lupron keeps doing it's job, that won't happen, but I am still so worried about it. I'm also worried that the 18 will get too big...ugh!! Other than that, I am just exhausted and a little sore. My RE is estimating my ER to be Thursday, and it can't get here fast enough!
QOTD: It had nothing to do with St. Patty's, but I got my hair cut and highlighted yesterday and it looks so much better!
Good luck to everyone this week with lots of greatness to look forward to!
Update: I'm in the 2ww and it stinks. I caved today and while we were at Walmart I picked up several hpts. With my beta Friday 11dp5dt, the nurse said it'd be okay to poas 1-2 days before. I'll try to wait until Wed. morning! I've had some symptoms, but they could be attributed to the progesterone or our little embies snuggling in... it's really just such a torturous game!
St. Patty's Day is our doggy's birthday. She turned 6! We got her a cake and made her wear a birthday hat while she opened her "stuffy" wrapped in wrapping paper with little dogs on it. Haha.

and congrats to HappyIam!!
You can move me over to the stims category, did my first one last night! woo hoo! I am a little nervous because I didn't realize that I would feel so much so quickly. I am only doing 150iu of Follistim and I can definitely tell something is going on. Not pain or anything just "off" I guess. This shot also burns much more than the Lupron did. I did let it get to room temperature but it still stung. I go in on Tuesday for monitoring. I have never taken stims before so I am very curious to see what is going on!
QOTD: We wanted to stay away from the drunk crowd so we went out for Mexican instead! it was pretty empty.
I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend!
Thanks FL! Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy!

Nope, but I wore a green hat with a shamrock on it to my ss baseball game. We don't drink at all so St. Patty's is not so exciting for us.

Wow, this almost exactly! I'm on day 10 of stims. Five or six follies look pretty big, but I have lots of small ones, too. My RE is keeping me on a very low dose of stims so that the small follies catch up, and wants me to go back in for monitoring tomorrow. MY ER is likely to be late this week or over the weekend.
Congrats to everyone who got a BFP, and good luck to all of those who are mid-IVF or in the 2WW!
