lol thats away of finding out.  I hacked into my mom's email account.  i knew what date it was but i wanted to know more details.  Mine is the same day as yours.

Nice!  My sister never intended on my shower being a surprise, but I had a blow out that morning too.  I also paid to have my make up done...it was great to feel pretty for the shower..as opposed to a cow.

My question about a surprise shower: How do the people know you'll make yourself free if you don't know when it is? That sounds like a plan waiting to backfire to me. LOL I mean, sure, they can try to trick you with "lunch" plans or something, but lunches get cancelled.

i have NO clue why they try to do the surprise thing??   they tried teh same before my wedding shower, but I figured it out and knew when ti was happening. so it makes no sense!

im jealous of you all bc mine is a surprise and i am sick of blowdrying my hair every weekend!!  i suspect it to be tomorrow ... just a feeling and we are supposed to be having a big pasta day at SILs (where we roll gnocchi all day).  my mom- who lives in maine- is in north jersey on business ... so im thinking its tomorrow.
