UGH I just need to vent...

So today is my LO's 1st birthday and it really bothers the F out of me that EX filed and wants sole custody of my LO and he doesn't even send her a bday present, card, phone call, nothing or even acknowledge that it's her birthday. All he did was send me an email acting all nice, saying that he's thinking about her and I and thanking me for giving birth to "His daughter". BLAH BLAH BLAH   F off!! I don't really care because she's better off without him but it's the point. Also, his mother made it very clear to me in the past that she will never forget my LO or turn her back on her because she is her grand daughter and she didn't send anything either, no phone call, card or anything. FUC* them both and the horses they think they ride on. I really hope the judge see through all his BS when we go to court in April for the custody hearing. I just want him out of our lives completely! Please God be on my side this time.

My STBX didn't bother anything on DD's birthday either.  He never has acknowledged that she turned 1.  But at least i got to enjoy a day of no crazies so it was a win in my book.

t sounds like she is better off with out them, my x tried that whole sole custody crap too, negative ghost rider, never going to happen, EVER!  Enjoy a glass of wine and cuddle that baby girl!

Don't worry about your DD's dad and don't let him get to you.  Be happy that you have your little girl and celebrate the day with her.  Who cares if he's not there and doesn't acknowledge the day?  It's his loss...he'll never ever get her first birthday back!  Live well and be happy...that's the best revenge you can have on your Ex.

As for the sole custody, I know court battles are a pain but he doesn't stand a chance in hell of getting sole custody.  Don't let that bother you either!
