Put headphones on your belly and play music for baby?? How loud would you think is too loud?

I'm going to start doing it soon. My mom did with me and music is the most important thing in my life, aside from wanting to be a good parent. My relationship with DH has been built on it.

I suppose I wouldn't have it up as loud as it can go, but sounds are going to be muffled in there. We're going to keep attending concerts and then utilize some good baby earmuffs once kiddo is born!

I can't wait to start doing this, music is so important to me! I plan to start after about 20 weeks or so. I think a "medium" level would be good. But I will be using my ipod and its hard to know what medium is on that.

I swear he loves it. He starts moving a lot when certain types of songs come on its so fun. I'm using pandora on my iPhone and some songs are louder than others I randomly check and I was just afraid to play it too loud. What kind of music will you play for LO

I'll be playing everything we love listening to! Rock in general, toward the punk end of things for some bands. The Gaslight Anthem, Red City Radio, The Menzingers, The Hold Steady... this kiddo is going to be born to Gaslight so I might as well get her ready!
