Need Q caps for Menopur...

I'm ordering menopur from ivfmeds.com the other day and a few of you suggested that I ask on here about Q-Caps before buying them. Unfortunately, they do not come with the Menopur from IVFmeds.com, but saving over $2,000 ordering from them.  I appreciate any help! Thank you!


HSG:3-23-11:Tubes clear
4/21 and 4/22 IUI #1 = BFN
6/11 and 6/12 IUI #2 = BFN
7/06 and 7/07 IUI #3 w/50mg Clomid + Ovidrel = BFN
7/29 and 7/30 IUI #4 w/50mg Clomid + Ovidrel = BFN
IVF 1= 1 egg retrieved= dead egg

    I don't even use the Q-caps and you can totally do without them.  I just use the mixing needle to draw up the fluid and inject into the vial and suck back up again.   Then take off the mixing needle for the smaller injection needle.

    DE IVF #3 1/14  ET 4BB; BFP;M/C 5w1d, incomplete m/c; MVA extraction in ER 7w1d

    DE FET#1 ET 3/1714; BFP, beta 1 3/27= 197, beta 2 3/31= 1586, beta 3 4/7= 13879!!
    First u/s= Twins with HBs at 6w2d! We are Team Pink x 2!!

    We also didn't use the Qcaps this last cycle. You could also see if your RE has any.

    THIS. I have one box of Menopur that came with Qcaps and one that didn't. Using the mixing needle is the same as what I will have to do with the Novarel trigger.  

    Single Mother by Choice. Life didn't work out the way I planned so I did it on my own. IUI #s 1-3, unmedicated = BFN, IUI #s 4-6, 50mg Clomid, Ovidrel = BFN IVF #1: 23R, 20M, 17F. 5 day transfer 2 blasts. 2 Snowbabies BFP 6dp5dt, Beta #1 7dp5dt = 58, Beta #2 9dp5dt = 114, Beta #3 10dp5dt = 187 1st Ultrasound = 5/3, not much to see yet. 2nd Ultrasound = 5/17, TWINS!!!     I use a needle for mixing the medications but have plently of q caps that you can use if you need them.  If I remember correctly the IVFmeds.com bottles were glass vials and would not work with the Q caps.

    Ditto what the others said about not needing q-caps. My nurse told me that using the needle to mix was a better way to make sure I was getting every last drop.

    I also just used a mixing needle and then swapped it out with a higher guage needle for the actual injection.

    IUI#5 cancelled on CD 10,  (3) follicules were still very small even on 300 IU's of Follistim. Also found fluid in my uterus from C-section scar

           Protein S Deficiency, Sjorgen's Syndrome 

    IUI #1-5: BFN
    Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy: minimal endo, partial septoplasty
    IVF #1: 10R/6M/6F ~ Day 3 ET = BFN
    IVF #2: 14R/9M/5F ~ transfer canceled ~ all embryos arrested at 1-2 cell stage
    IVF #3: 9R/5M/5F ~ 1 frosty!
    IVF #4 (FET #1): BFN

    IVF #5 (DE IVF #1 with Dr. KK protocol): Currently PREGNANT!!!!!!
    Synthroid + Prednisone + Metformin + Baby Aspirin + Supplements Galore = 15+ pills a day
    Lupron + Lovenox + Delestrogen + IVIG + B/W = 2-5 pokes a day
    19R, 17M, 17F - transferred two Grade A blasts 11/16, four frosties!!!
    Beta #1 11/24 (13dpo/8dp5dt) = 367 ~ Beta #2 11/26 (15dpo/10dp5dt) = 709
