Fever and flu at DC

So I get a call at 2pm from DC saying DD has 102 fever. I ask my DH to pick her up and take her to my mom's.  3pm I get a call from DC - DS has 102 fever as well - I had to leave work to bring them all home.  (No way my mom could handle 3 and DH has his own business and his assistant is out Wednesdays.)

Today had parent/teacher meetings to discuss kids progress - got in the office at 11am.

I've been trying to fly low under the radar especially when I leave on vacation Satuday for a whole week.   Not really doing a good job this week.  UGH.

I am not sure if you still live in NY.  But in Dallas there are a few sick daycares for this exact purpose.  I am sure in NY there must be places like that.  When I get that kind of call from DC I call the sick DC, let them know I am coming, get LO, drop LO off at sick DC and return to work.  It takes 60-90 mins tops.

where is this sick daycare in Dallas?

@OP, DD had the flu last week and the entire fam went on Tamiflu (costly) but it did help shorten the length to less than 72 hrs of symtoms w/ DD.
