1 piece. I can't bring myself to put her in a bikini, seems so grown up for a baby. She can wear a bikini when she can buy one herself. I was raised very modestly as far as bathing suits go. Shocking I know!
DD wears tankinis. DS will be in swim trunks with a rash guard top. His skin is still so fair that I don't think I can let him go without the top if we are going to be at the pool for as long as we usually are.
I had a couple one pieces for DD when she was little, but its so much easier to do diaper changes or go potty in a two piece.
E inherited my coloring. I'm pretty tempted to buy the long sleeve and pants swim stuff. I burn so quickly, even with sunscreen. I adore baby bikinis but I'm pretty concerned about her burning.
whatever is the cutest! haha! I will put her in a baby bikini I wish I knew what size she was going to be this summer so I could buy some now.
They seem pretty versatile. My dd will fit into most the ones she wore last year (of course she will need new as well ). She will be 2 1/2 and they are 18 mos. Her 6-12 months size tankini fit her from 3 mos to over a year!

Last summer he had little swim trunks and a quick dry swim shirt...we'll probably go the same route again, though if he is anything like DH as a toddler..it will all come right back off!
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
Any one that doesn't have criss cross straps in the back.
I got for one for a gift and it's such a PITA. So much so I grabbed a new one at Target today for our upcoming trip.
Makes diaper changes easier.
I have a couple 2 pieces from handmedowns. I don't have a problem..makes changing easier as well and hey they were free so whatever.
I also have a couple board short sets. I'll probably use those more than anything. They were my nephew's but I have no shame in putting them on a girl. (They're surfboard and hawaiin flower patterns mainly in yellow and green and red and navy so not too boyish).
Re: Bathing suits
Team Bikini all the way.
Two pieces makes it easier for diaper changes.
