Opinions on some names?

Girl- Alivia, Alyson

Middle name: Carolyn

Boy- Jacob, Talen, Logan

Middle name: Anthony

alivia is nms so I don't love it but I've heard much worse. I like Alyson but like it spelled Allison. I don't like Alyson Carolyn at all but paired with Alivia it is OK.

For the boys names I like Jacob but feel like it is kinda popular right now. I like Talen and Logan and I really like Logan Anthony the best

I don't feel strongly about any of these names, except maybe Logan and Anthony. But I would suggest spelling the names with a more common spelling (Allison, Olivia, Talin or Talon).

I don't like the spelling of Alivia but Olivia is DH's favorite girl name (this is probably what we'll name DD).  I like Alyson.  Olivia Carolyn sounds better to me.

Jacob and Logan are great names, but a talon is a bird's claw, not a name.  I like Jacob Anthony better than Logan Anthony.

I strongly dislike unique spellings of names. I prefer Olivia and Allison, it doesn't make the name less popular by miss-spelling it. I think Olivia flows better with the middle name, Allison Carolyn is too sing songy for me. FWIW, I like the name Allison over Olivia though I would just pick a different middle name. As far as boy names, I really like Jacob Anthony, Logan is just ok, and I strongly dislike Talen.

Agree.......spell the name the way it should be spelled otherwise it's a world of confusion for the kid, teachers and everyone else.  My DH name is Zachariah and his mom shortened it to Zac......he ended up putting an h on the end because everyone spelled it wrong......it drove him nuts!

Alivia is nms and Alyson looks weird; IMO Allison is way better, however Allison Carolyn doesn't flow well

I really like Jacob and Logan (Logan a bit more) Jacob Anthony has the best flow; I don't like Talen

Olivia is a beautiful name. Alivia looks wrong.

I like Alyson Carolyn (but spelled Allison) and I liked Logan Anthony, thats a strong name.

Not a fan of either of your girl names, sorry - I get that Alivia is said differently than Olivia but it still looks like you're trying to slightly change a super popular name to make it more unique. Alyson is just boring to me and kind of dated.

Jacob and Logan are both nice names, though pretty popular right now. I really dislike Talen - which is nearly talon, a vicious claw? Not a fan.

I strongly dislike the spellings of Alivia and Alyson.  And Alyson Carolyn is just not good.  What about Allison Caroline?

For the boys, I guess I like Jacob the best.  I strongly dislike Talen and have never been a fan of Logan.  Logan Anthony sounds nice though.

I prefer Olivia to Alivia, but if you are 100% set on the spellings then I like Alyson better. Although I am not a fan of the flow of Alyson Carolyn. Alyson Caroline is a bit better. 

Jacob Anthony is my vote for a boy. Logan is NMS but not bad either. Talen is bad- reminds me of Talon, as in, the claw of a bird.
