What is everyone's opinion on same letter first and last name....our top girl choice is Sydney Rose....but our last name begins with an S. I worry about how that alliteration sounds!!
For future job applications, experts say that people with the same first letter/last letter names are more likely to get hired because they are more memorable...if that helps. And it's a really cute name.
Re: Another Name Question
As long as they sound nice together otherwise, I see no issue with it.
For instance, I wouldn't name my kid Gary Garrett, but George Garrett sounds perfectly acceptable.

Depends on the last name
Sydney Samson is a whole lotta S's.
Sydney Smith is better, easier to say.
My first and last name both end with "son" and it is not a name that rolls off your tongue. Kind of a pain.
This. If you like it, go for it!
