I've been wanting to try it too. I have a BGE and I am not a fan at all and I was wondering if the Freetime will be a PITA to clean poo off. LMK how you like it when you get it.
I did not care for the elemental either, I hated how there was all that extra attached fabric inside and it bunched up weird, even on my 1 yr old. I somewhat reluctantly tried the Freetime and I like it much, much better. The 'inserts' are only attached on one end so you are free to lay them or fold them as you with. Since I have a boy I like to stretch the bottom one out then fold the top one in half and lay it in the front for extra absorbancy. DS pooped in it one time so far and all the poop ended up on the top 'insert' so cleanup was no problem.
I really don't like the Freetime. The two flaps just make cleaning poop SO messy. It gets in all the crevices and pockets. I think we've used ours like 3 times and it's stained. None of my other diapers are like that! Someone on here said it is better once the poops are ploppable. But eh. I'm going to sell mine.
BTW, wanna buy a Freetime? Haha.
They are my absolute favorite CD! I have tried a million different brands and these are the best. My DS is super skinny and average height and these give a great fit, compared to the BG pockets that are somehow still on the big side even though he is almost 16 mos. DS always has plopable poop so that may be why they work great for us. We have 4 elementals and they are ok, but the FT are better. When there has been a stickier poo, I just soak in the toilet for a couple hours and then swish around and put in the wetbag. Not really any different than I would do for any other brand. I do not have a sprayer.
Yeah, I think I'm one of the few who dislikes it. I really wish I could warm up to it but it's always my last choice. And mine is a Lovelace print which is so pretty too! Based on everyone else's review, I'd definitely try one if I were you. You can always sell it if you decide it's not for you!
However, my kid rarely ever has ploppable poop, so it's a huge PITA when she poops, because it goes go everywhere -- it helps if you have the rear flap on top though!
The really big issue with them is that they are not very absorbant. I have to put an extra insert into them for her to last any length of time in them. And the pockets are sort of narrow, so I usually just lay a narrower doubler beneath the two flaps.
I like it, but I probably won't buy more.
They do fit DD pretty well, although not as well as my Blueberries or HH. She's 90+% in both height and weight at 20 months though.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM, except when my daughter has diarahea which she is suffering from now thanks to her double ear infection and antibiotics. If tne poo is mostly ploppable with skid marks they are the easiest to use the diaper sprayer on cuz you just hold the dirty flap over the edge of the toilet and rinse. My daughter pretty much poops at the same time every day so I always put one of these on her when its close in time.
The are the worst with diarahea because everything gets in and around all the flaps making it difficult to rinse out.
So all in all, they are a great addition to the stash but I would not make them my only diaper.
If the house ain't burned down and the baby's fed it was a successful day.

I really like the fit and trimness of them.

I LOVE ours. I'm hoping I continue to love them as the babies get older!
I'd be interested in buying more if anyone is looking to sell

Thanks for all the input ladies. I am new to all of this and baby won't be here for a long time but just trying to feel out what I might want to use.
Thanks!
