I remember trying to make my mom let us skip the raisin houses when I was little.

we have always done full size bars.  I think the kids expect it now.  Im scared to give the little ones because egg is so hard to clean off of the house and cars

How lame must you be to egg a house over the candy they give out? We've never had that happen around here.

Wait, so if you buy full-sized bars, do you buy them in bulk so it's cheaper or pay $.50 each?  I can't even imagine the expense!  I have about $30 worth of candy at my house, which is probably 10-12 bags and it won't last for the whole time, but I'm just not going to buy anymore.  It would cost me at least $100 to buy full-size bars for all the kids we get.

We buy the full size bars at Sams Club.  We don't get to many kids, so it's only 2 boxes.  It's easier for me, and probably cheaper too.  If i got the snack size I would hand out several to each kid anyways.  Oh, it also prevents me from eating so many.  You know how you can eat 4 snack size and not think about it, well you really think about eating a full size bar.

growing up we only got the snack size or the suckers/mix bag stuff, or apples-- I would have been so excited to get a full size bar!!!
