I started giving my DD strained prunes over the last three days to help with her terrible constipation. It seems to be working...yeah! I have been giving her 1-2 tbsp twice a day. If your LO also gets prunes for constipation, how much do you give? Should I cut back? Will it still work? I just don't want her filling up only on prunes. She has been getting a veggie (1-2 tbsp) or fruit and cereal (1-2 tbsp) along with the prunes, but I feel like that's a lot of food at once. But, I also don't want her constipated.

I haven't tried prunes yet, but I accidentally found another way to help with constipation.
We were on vacation and my LO hadn't pooped all day and was very fussy. I thought he had a fever and was getting sick so I checked his temperature. A few seconds of waiting for the thermometer to finish up my LO started pushing and I realized I triggered him to poop. He felt soooooooooooooo much better! It was gross, but definitely a trick I will use again in the future.
My LO gets constipated easily, so we feed him a lot of fruit as a preventative measure. He gets 1-2 tbsp of a combination of prunes, plums, pears and peaches per day. the "P" fruits really help him. I also make sure he has only a very small amount of rice and bananas, as both cause him problems.
I wouldn't worry about the amount. My LO eats more than that at one sitting. It totally denends on the baby. If you're LO seems happy at that amount without tummy aches or spitting up a lot, I'm sure its fine.
