Since Mattie will be 6 months (can you believe it!?) next month, I want to get him started with swim lessons. My original thought was to go to a place around the corner from my house, but I want to look in to a more formal program. I see the Y has classes, but has anyone taken them? Does anyone have any recommendations?? (Particularly on the east side)?
We took Mattie in the pool when we were in AZ last month and he did great! He didn't seem to mind the water at all - it was more when he got out. He hates being cold even for a second! ![]()
Thanks!
Re: Infant swim lessons?
Call the pool and ask which pool they do baby lessons in and how warm it is!!! I learned this the hard way. We took lessons at the Sumner pool and it was miserable!!! The water was soooo cold. We're going to try again in a couple months at the Fife pool because they do their baby swim lessons in a smaller WARMER pool!
Remember...Cold pools = Purple babies! haha
Cruz and I did swim lessons throught he bellevue aquatic center. It was great because the pool was super warm being that its used as a therapy pool. It was twice a week for I believe 6 weeks and only $48. Which was the best price I found. Here is their web site https://www.cityofbellevue.org/aquatic_center.htm
