everything I find seems crazy expensive. where did others find reasonably priced maternity workout and/or running gear? or did you just go up a size or two in normal clothes? I am so used to buying from the C9 line at Target, so most items under $20. Doesn't look like they do anything for maternity in that line. I appreciate any suggestions!
Re: suggestions on maternity running/workout clothes?
I have run into the same problem too. I don't know why there aren't more workout maternity clothes options. I guess people still think you aren't suppose to workout when you are preggo.
I am 30 weeks and wearing my same running/workout shorts, but just having to wear them a little lower under the bump. I have bought a couple of longer tank-tops in a size larger. They seem to work fine. I hate wearing shirts with sleeves when I workout, so t-shirts are a no-go. You might want to check out TJ-Maxx or Marshalls. They have good stuff for pretty cheap.
Most of my shorts still fit if I wear them under my belly. When I was still running, I still fit into my shorts and running tights. Now I am just walking and don't worry about chafing as much, so I borrow H's t-shirts since I am just at home.
My lululemon pants actually still fit. (My belly is measuring 37 cm for reference) I have the Groove pants and although there is some slight muffin top-age, it's not that bad.
